The Journey

A little appreciation for th current situation.

1. I am currently already supporting (consistently I might add) my wife and the little one on the way.

2. We have a wonderful place to stay in and I just love spending time in the house now. There is a little river flowing at the back of the house and the atmosphere here is just great. I go jogging at night with great peace and appreciation for this place and I pay for this place every month. The house has also sparked my creativity to come up with some great work in terms of writing.

3. There are easy jobs coming in each month where I can make extra income. Looking back these jobs have been consistently coming in and the great part here are these jobs are easy enough for me to do. These jobs are just what I am asking for.

4. I have also been asking for a new career opportunity and that has come a'knocking and boy oh boy do I like thinking about plot. I really feel charged up and thoroughly enjoy each moment researching and coming up with new plot lines for movies. This is like something I was born to do.

A new vocation :)

I am very excited about the script writing career that is looming on the horizon. I likes doing this and time passes very fast when I am doing it. What is more gratifying is the fact that other people enjoy what I am doing too. Ever since I was young I have enjoyed watching movies and playing movies in my mind frame to frame. The magic of movies struck me when I was young. So far I have come up with three scripts and currently still working on one of them. I got a place where I can submit the scripts.

Currently I am the only one who knows about the scripts as I am more comfortable to keep it within my immediate family (mom, Papster and other close people are readers). Very very happy over this. This is truly something that I would do even if I was not paid. That is my gauge of if I am following my IB doing this. I am hoping that one day I can finally watch the sci-fi being offered on my TV :).

My financial stability

1. More and more money comes as I ask for them each month meaning that my vibrations are cleaning up and I am on the right track.

2. I appreciate people like Jason and Gary who are very easy with money and am willing to pay, and even goes to the point of asking me for an invoice to facilitate their paying!

3. All of the main services and things that I want are paid for, the majority of them paid using cash. This means that the flow of money is strong.

4. Both Pappy and I find a lot of stuff priced very cheaply or free. This has allowed us to enjoy a lot of stuff and things on a monthly basis even without paying a single cent! I really really appreciate this.

5. I having savings in multiple sources and most of the time I can depend on them. Lately, I am depending less and less on these and this means that there is a surplus of income coming in.

6. We have always enjoyed a wealth of things and services on a continuous basis.

7. I appreciate the fact that BNI provides me with a superb platform to market our products.

8. I like the nature of our products being easy to sell and provides continuous income to us.

My boss

1. I appreciate the fact that through the careful planning and efforts of my boss now I have a stable company to go to work everyday and in it to be able to be creative.

2. My boss is well mannered and listens when we are really seriously trying to communicate with him.

3. He is very careful in what he does and is in his way imparting his knowledge to me.

4. In my creativity in trying out the projects that he assigned to me I have found joy in installing and configuring the services that we normally take for granted.

5. I appreciate the fact that this company has provided me stable income each month enough to pay for most of my bills while at the same time allowed me to search for more income to feed my other needs.

6. I think that most of the time my boss means well it's just that his actions are misunderstood. So in essence he means well.

7. I appreciate the fact that I am here by my own will and can choose to go whenever I want to.

8. The fact that he is assigning us project shows that his trust is growing on us and starting to depend on us. That is a nice feeling.

9. I appreciate the fact that while I have followed this boss of mine for the past few years, I am the only employee among all the others that started that gained the most in terms of monetary through bonuses and other cash incentives.

10. I appreciate the fact that by keeping my stuff neat, I am allowed to pursue my hobbies in the office.

11. I appreciate that my office is still very near to where I live and is near the hub of most of my activities.

12. I appreciate my basic needs in this job is mostly met and always on time.

My Money

1. I always have money to pay for whatever I want to. It's always there and even if sometimes I don't personally have it people around me always have it.

2. Money has been getting easier and easier these past few months.

3. I love the things that money has been able to get for me. My house is one, the pens I have they are beautiful and each one is just the way I like it now.

4. I can support most of the people around me and the feeling of being able to do that is great.

5. Project have been smooth coming in and they continue to do so. The conversion rate of projects into revenue has been so smooth, it's something that I did not have to think about.

6. Recently I have discovered (some re-discovered) revenue streams that really excite me. This has been what I have been asking for.

7. It feels great to get creative in what I do for a living. It allows for more confidence in what I do.

Do you feel good spending money?

Think about this. The Law of Attraction works by attracting more of what you want and being in alignment with that to get it or bring your more of it. If you feel happy you attract more of that feeling and the Universe would work to bring your more of that and likewise if you feel fear or sadness.

Would you like a lot of money to spend and be happy? Based on the premise above, wouldn't it be correct to think that the more we enjoy spending and appreciate what our money has brought us, we would be in the place to attract more of that? Think about that then think about what you feel when your bills start arriving? Do you feel joyful paying or spending that money paying for services that have benefited your life or do you grit your teeth telling yourself this is just the way life is and that paying bills is just a necessary evil for your life to continue?

This trips up most people. Even the best I have seen so far just try to ignore the sinking feeling they feel when paying bills and try to focus on other happy thoughts. While this may help you get relief but do you notice at what kind of set point this holds you? When you stop to count the people walking around in the streets smiling when it comes time to pay their bills do you then begin to understand why most people still feel overwhelmed by bills ? The trick here is to feel good about paying our bills or paying for items we purchase for that truly will bring us more of that!

There are no victims in this universe.

Sometimes in our quest to feel good we do get caught up in situation where our emotion is under threat to get some beating. A great example of this is a conversation which is slowly heating up. Normally for this kinds of cases to preserve my emotional set point I try a few methods.

1. If this person can be ignored then I will just ignore him/her and start distracting myself using the numerous methods such as visualization or meditation (counting breaths). This might not work if this is a conversation that is being carried on with a loved one that is demanding an answer from you.

2. Try to go to a different room or do something to diffuse the building bad vibe. Baths, going to another room or some house chores work fine for this. This might not work too if an immediate answer is demanded.

This post is to try to help those who cannot do the first two methods outlined above. Normally, if we are in the mindset of a victim or being wronged, we tend to be defensive and this kind of set point will not be beneficial to the situation. The most useful way for me is to take a deep breath no matter how hard, slow down your response and keeping in mind that there are no victims in this world. There are only co-creators. You are in the current situation you are in due partly to yourself. No one can force their manifestation on you. Keeping this in mind and responding would give you greater relief, no matter how hard the situation and this would put you in the best mental state to maintain or bring up your set point under any circumstance.

Being in mental state gives you composure and it puts you in mood of fixing or tweaking your response rather than trying to win the argument (which will happen because you are in a defensive mood).

Appreciating the manisfestation of desires

Everything we ask for and allow will manifest in our lives. Recently I found out that the universe has creative and fun ways of delivering our desires to us. The Universe works in mysterious and fun ways that we do not even expect. If we are not careful sometimes we might even miss it the first time it arrives. I say 'first time' here because as long as you are allowing and keep on asking the Universe will always deliver your desires. This is what happened to me.

I need a new phone after the old one who has been serving me faithfully had to be retired. The Papster 'inherited' hers to me and I was joyful to see that my wish had 'manifested' so fast and so beautifully. A new e71 became mine just like that! Thank you! Thank you! Ah, but then this is just the beginning of the tale. The Universe gets creative here.

A few weeks into using the phone, the screen suddenly blanks out on me and the phone could not be switched on anymore. The phone outlet said that the phone had to be sent back to Nokia to be repaired. Feeling a bit low as I had to endure a few days without my phone, I kept my spirits up by telling myself that all the repairs were free as the phone is still under guarantee safe with the knowledge that the Manager (Universe) has been delegated the task of making sure I get what I want. Just moving on I left the phone there and after about a week or so the shop calls me up to inform me that the phone is done and they had just replaced the whole electronic component (the heart of the phone). For those who are technically inclined this means the whole electronic board in the phone. All this happened with just three days left on the phone's guarantee. So in summary I got my "new phone" after all! Thinking about this left me with a grin on my face the whole day and feeling great inside! What made it even better is the "game" that the universe included in manifesting my desires.

Imagine how delicious and great life would be if we felt gratitude and joy in discovering the manifestations of our desires everyday! We would literally be happy forever! To me what we ask for and allow is always given. The unique and creative way how are desires are manifested is just a bonus that the Universe provides us. Just imagine how boring it would be if I just got enough money and I had to go and buy a new phone myself. The way I got it is so much more creative and satisfying. Life is truly great!!

Clearing

Today had a very relieving clearing session with the mumster. While some people I know try to avoid confrontation for the fear that it might effect the vibe of the moment, I think that we should just do what comes naturally and feels most comfortable and that for my family has always been clearing away cobwebs. While during the cobweb clearing session we go down a bit in on the vibrational scale, what is important is at the end we gain relief after all the debris is out of the way. We shout at each other talk and voice out our disappointments.

Until the day I can look at or face the contrast and feel good about it, the process of clearing (confrontation) can help to clear out the uncomfortable vibe. I am lucky enough to have a family that have always been happy to help me out in this. Confrontation is better than maintaining a false feeling of comfort by "tolerating" the other person. Toleration has never and will never work. You will just end up feeling "After all I have done for you ..." which puts you in a mental state of focusing on how ungrateful your mate or the other person is and as we all know that kind of thinking will just bring more of the same.

For the first two days, I was feeling a bit out of sorts and started to wonder why. After the process of clearing today with mumster, I felt so much relief, I know this method works for me. Clearing works so always choose clearing with your partner over toleration.

Life the most enjoyable game!

Thanks to Abraham-Hicks recordings and following the teachings, my life is so much more alive and fun! Life has a purpose, life is a great constant game of contrast and tweaking of vibes. Everyday you think of your desires then tweak your feelings and emotions to be in sync with your desires. It's a fun and never ending game for me. It has made life so enjoyable and such a fulfilling and rich experience. Even driving to work appreciating the smoothness of the ride is such fun for me, and what's best more come and more and more! Each day I see more and more of my desire materializing and more and more wantings springing up! I sleep less and when I wake up I feel refreshed and eager to go into the new day and experience more of that delicious wantings that my insync vibes have created and materialized. The process itself is thoroughly enjoyable, wielding and playing with that energy that creates worlds. Yes truly we can have anything our hearts desire!

This rampage of appreciation is dedicated to the teachers who have brought me the teachings in such clarity and passion. May we all meet on the leading edge of creation!

Abraham's Journal of Positive Aspects

Of all the methods I know from Abraham Hicks, the journal of positive aspects is the most powerful and effective in helping me with my relationship with my mom. My mom has taken up to collecting rubbish and aluminum tins to be sold. It concerned me as I initially thought that this would cause a dip in a self esteem. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get her to stop this newly developed habit. This is of course in line with Abraham-Hicks teachings that the harder you fight at something the closer it comes. I knew all the teachings but I was just caught up in the vibe of the moment and could not help myself. This lower feeling vibe ended up in a lot tense words being exchanged between us causing even a lower dip.

In desperation I tried writing on my journal of positive aspects about her, which I used an old red moleskine for. The more I wrote, the better I felt. On the third page of writing I realized the power behind this technique. The technique forces you to write out the positive aspects you feel hence forcing you to concentrate on one thought at once (Try writing and thinking different thought simultaneously). When this process is done in the head, often there are too many thoughts flying around to make it really effective.

On the third page of the journal I saw a whole different aspect to my mom and realized how spiritually strong she is and felt a whole lot of relief and instantly the next day I could see marked differences in the way we talked. I actually found some uses for the things that she had picked from the street and even made them into beautiful decorative ornaments on my table. I could literally feel a heavy lower feeling vibe being lifted off my chest and it felt good.

Chance encounter with a master

During a project meeting today, I was awed to be in the midst of a master. There is a lady there which is a programmer whom I shall call P. This lady has an ability that I am slowly trying to develop. Calling it an ability though would imply that this needed practice and I realize is not really accurate. It was more like her nature. Something instinctive.

Negative vibes do not even register in her attention! For me I see it I just choose not to concentrate or focus on it (As best as I can). This lady do not even see it! She just brushes all those stuff aside and goes straight to the issue at hand! It did not hit me during the project meeting, just a nice feeling everytime she spoke. A feeling of warmness and hope. During the walk to the car it dawned on me how powerful this practice or nature is.... When you do not even see or feel negative surroundings, then nothing can effect you. While sitting in the room, the positive vibes emanating from her was like an oasis in a desert. I was smiling during my drive back andit gave me a warm glow the whole day thinking about her.

When I get this ability, negative incidents would be strange even better I won't even see it. This reminds me of famous Morpheus line in the movie "The Matrix" where he is talking to Neo and trying to convince him to find the One in himself .. it goes like this ..

Morpheus : I've seen an agent punch through a concrete wall. Men have

emptied entire clips at them, and hit nothing but air. Yet

world built on rules. Because of that, they will never be

You won't have to dodge negatives when you don't even see them! When I only see good things, things that make me happy, make ecstatic imagine the power that course through me! Thank you universe for helping me to see this.

Faith is all I need

Wow, I did not realize that people actually read my blog! Anyway, just another entry here to mark another milestone. I am at a point of pure Faith in what I do. I realize finally that most of the problems we face daily is about vision to move ahead and faith to pull us through when the times get bad. Currently I am running on pure faith with only less than 200 bucks left in the bank. In the past I have talked about getting through and having a lot of faith. Now I am finally in the position to put that into practice! I want to be true to my beliefs and principles and really live up to them. Looking forward believing that what I envision will come. Full faith is what I need to muster up.

I found out it's easy to talk about faith and espouse all sorts of quotes when you are comfortably sitting on your home couch watching tv and doing nothing but those works hold a special meaning and place when said and practiced in the eye of adversity.

Wish me luck people! It's the start of a new journey for my family and I.

Spiritualism vs Religiousness

Spiritualism to me explains so much of the questions that religious teachings left a hole. I had a few questions about religious issues be in Buddhism or in Islam that no one could answer. In the past, not being able to answer these questions, I was forced to accept the teachings in a half hearted manner. It was hard for me. I wanted to know and was curious to know what the religious point of view was, but somehow no matter how hard I searched for an answer, it did not satisfy me. I felt a lack and deep inside felt that religion could not answer it. I was told to have faith but the voice inside of me asked "How can you have faith when you don't know what is it you are having faith in ??"

New age or spiritualism opened up a new door for me and all of my questions could be answered. Finally I could bridge the gap between mysticism, science and religion, all subjects close to my heart. "Why do some children have to die young and suffer","If bomoh's are using Islamic incantations then are they practicing the word of god","If god is good, why does god allow bad things to happen in the world" are all questions that I could answer now and I am happy and inspired. I have reconnected with my source. A force or God which I have always been close to as a child feeling it's warmth and comfort. I nearly lost that as I was growing up swayed by the good judgments of those around me. New age beliefs allowed me to see the bridge between my other childhood beliefs such as astrology, chinese facial astrology and conventional religion. I saw a lot of things differently and found the answers to my of my questions. For those who think that spiritualism will cause you to be less religious, it actually strengthen my belief in God. I felt the closeness I felt to God back when I was just a child. How could I not? God is after all a part of us.

The concept of fairness

Today is a break through day for me. In technical techno babble, I have received and installed my latest round of patches. Today's patch has something to do with the concept of fairness. In my family there is only the two of us, that is my sister and me. From the time I was very young, my mom would drill into us the concept of fairness being very important in our daily affairs. I thought I understood this concept, until recently when I ran into conflict with my mom. I used to think that fairness means same or in terms of material things, something that I have my sister has to have something similar. This concept that I had in my noggin' recently ran into a bit of challenge when I noticed that my mom treated both of us differently. My mom would be very sensitive to all of my sister's needs to the point of feeling scared to leave the house least my sister woke up and found no one around. I felt angry and a bit irritated as I felt that my mom did not practice what she preached. I thought she was a bit of a hypocrite saying something but doing something else.

However, today I allowed the wisdom of the universe to flow through and I realized something. Fairness in my mom's eyes was giving us each exactly what we need for us to be close as a family. In my case I have always been very open and receptive, so I was easier to talk to. My sister speaks a different language emotionally and my mom had to bend certain so called "rules" to accommodate for her. While in the past I felt that this "accommodation" process is double standard treatment, now I see it as the universe way of being "fair". We are all given what we need, and one needs to delve a bit deeper beyond to see "fairness".

A lot of people still have hang ups about this kind of thing especially siblings as they usually feel they are in competition for attention from the day the universe put them in the role of siblings. With this new knowledge, I see all of this "problems" in a new light and I would like to project this knowing to all the other siblings or people that might need it.

Miss Quek

Today during my ride home a yellow faded sign with the words "Quek and Co." caught my attention. My memories got transported to time when I was in standard 3 in St. Thomas primary school. There is an incident that happened to me during my younger days that has always stuck with me.

Miss Quek is my class teacher during my 3 year in primary school. She is a stocky lady with a round face and sharp eye brows and boomy voice. She would be what many would consider the stereotypical dragon lady type. One day there was a few education auditors that was coming to visit our class. Before the auditors came she "prepped" us up by telling all of us to hold up our hands during any of the Question and Answer session to give an overall impression of good interactive participation from the class. During those days, we would be what you call a rebellious lot often giving her a hard time. What was surprising during that day is that all of us participated and gave her version of "good" participation. I still remembered we were promised rewards of stamps from her private collection if we obeyed.

What struck me was that after the class, the auditors took her aside and gave her a few words. From the back of the class I could make out that Miss Quek was trying to hold back some tears as the auditors talked to her. That moment of tenderness from this woman that all of us considered the iron dragon lady stuck with me and till this day I do not know what transpired between the auditor and her that day. After the whole episode she dismissed us with few words and nothing else was spoken of it. Out of all my memories from my younger day this particular memory has stuck with me most vividly. It's almost like yesterday I am the young boy at the back of the class wondering why my teacher was trying to hold back her tears.

Chinese face theories and vibes

Through my observations I found that there is a link between chinese facial theories and the study of vibes. I found this by looking at people who have had high levels of stress in their lives. They usually have something about their facial features that is a bit out of sync too. This is the place where ancient chinese theories about recognizing a person's behavior or character using their facial features. Eyebrows that meat is a sign of close minds. A high brow means an intelligent mind .. those kind of things.

Your inner feelings or vibes will manifest itself on your face. I learned the hard way that how good you look on a day will influence who you meet and how good your dealings will be on that day. It's hard for me initially who wanted to move away from being judge outwardly and felt that people should not look at the exterior but judge a person what is like inside. However, if you accept the fact that your outer shell or looks is a representation of your inner self then judging a person by their looks might not be so stupid as hithero thought.

What I think is, Chinese philosophers learned the skill of facial reading using their superior mastery of vibes reading and recorded all the knowledge now which is now known as the Chinese Physiognomy - Face Reading. I found a nice blog which says a fair bit more about what I am trying to say here.

Do not own that

I found that more often than not the temper we are seeking so hard to control can just be controlled with the simple act of delaying a reaction to the stimulus. It's simple. Delay your feeling of reaction or injustice for a few minutes, slowly compose your smart come back. If you feel hurt or that anger sting become less sharp and blunt continue for a few more minutes longer without a reply. It's letting the hot air out of a balloon. It works everytime. If this doesn't work I find that quickly extracting yourself from the heated situation works wonders. Remember everyone of life's seemingly out-ta-get-ya moments are nothing more than oppotunities god or the universe gives us to let our best qualities shine through.

If you ask for patience, the universe or God delivers by putting you in situation where you can exercise your patience. Viewing it from this aspect allows you to always be on top of your day. Hold on to this and you will always be calm. If however, you are not ready, it's okay to just step away and come back at another time. It just means that we have to do some extra tuning to get ourselves ready for the situation. You are perfect. You are exactly the way you are meant to be. You just choose to extend and test yourself in new and uncomfortable situations. That is growing.

Getting yourself noticed : update update update

If woody allen once said that showing up is one half of success, then let me complete the saying ... "the other half is making sure people know you exist !". The incredelous among you might already be saying "Of course I exist ! People see me going in and out of the office daily and I attend all the meetings !!" Wrong Wrong wrong on all counts. In this fast moving and busy world you would be surprised how many times good even great people are overlooked for promotions, salary upgrades and other niceties over their seemingly less capable counterparts. This happens not because of favoritism but because bosses or higher don't even know they exist. I see this all the time among my fellow younger techies. Yes they are the ones hunched in the dark corner banging away on the key board thinking that if they complete their task quietly their bosses will sure appreciate their work and give them equal compensation. Worse still is that they don't even care if this happens ! Bottom line ... you are the greatest promoter for your own work or ability and you should never feel uncomfortable about shining the spot light on yourself once in a while. Why should you ? You are capable and smart and tooting your horn once in a while is a helathy boost for the self esteem.

What is the first step in promoting yourself and your work ? Update. What's the second step ? Update. The third is of course also update ! When you are working on a project assigned to you or your group, it is always in your best interest to update your boss or higher up about what you are doing. Believe me, sometimes they just plain don't know what you are doing ! Expecting your boss to know exactly what your contribution in your project by himself with his already busy schedule is not only plain stupid, it is egoistically stupid ! Your company's world does not revolve around you and leaving the knowledge of contribution to your project to Lady Luck will often leave you unnoticed and disappointed. The key here is to write an update report not to show your results but to show the effort that you put into your work. So if just spent the whole day scouring google without any luck or headway in trying to solve your problem, include that too ! Those stuff are essential in relaying to your management how much you care about your work and how much effort you put into it.

So this concludes the first three steps in getting yourself noticed in your work place. The next time I will go into creating a successful image of yourself at work, so stay tuned.

Garbage truck awareness

Came back today after a run and a garbage truck was behind me. It was noisy and i knew it was behind me. There was this old garbage truck that does it's rounds everytime when I finish my daily runs. The last part of the run I will turn around and run in reverse running backwards. Something struck me today an epiphany. That warm rush of feelings inside of me I have now know to be a moment of pure inspiration. I refused to look at it and just kept on going backwards and just kept on going backwards with the knowledge of the garbage truck behind me, looking at what is in front of me instead of what is ahead. Somehow it struck me how much that is like life. We can choose to look at the garbage truck or our own achievements and forge on ahead based on that. It was an exhilarating moment when I came to this realization.
Feel the fear, feel it smell it even but concentrate on your successes and do not it hold you back.A sense of freedom and ease came over me a powerful realization that I can solve any problem that presents itself and that the problem is my friend and something I can accept and change. The uncertainty, chaos and fear is like a dear friend which encourages you to go that extra mile in that tough marathon and will not give up on you when all others would not even look at you.

I am very thankful to Pappy for creating the storm for me to ride on. The storm helps me let go and leave things to the universe. It lets me practice the true essence of law of abundance and the other laws. Meeting up with Paul too help to solidify things I have learnt throughout this time. I am thankful for all the beautiful people that the universe has put my way.

Update: Saw this post and thought I would post it after all but with a twist. Your achievements and your failures are all the garbage truck in front of you. Most often than not it turns out to be the thing that holds you back. Giving you pain where you don't need it. Successes creates unnecessary anxiety while failures brings us down. If I can I would like to approach each of life's untaking without the burden (or the advantage?) of experience ...

The boiling point

People get afraid when the initial momentum of an effort suddenly slows down or suddenly goes quiet. Not me. This to me only means that the universe is trying to tell you either what you asked for, in this case trying to increase the size of my business is already in the current situation or it just means that the universe will provide more than you asked for you just need some preparations. I guess what I am trying to say here is that do not get discouraged when stuff slows down, it just means that you have to do some internal preparations or just need to brush up on a certain something before moving on to the next level. Plateau can be good because you know that you will be moving to the next level soon !

The good finder

Today let's look at good finders. This thought struck me today as I was pulling out the bike going on my daily jogging regiment. "If god were to hear our thoughts daily how bad we must all sound with the doom and the gloom !" The word good finder was definitely not created here. I read about it some years back in one of the self help books that I ploughed through.

A good finder is a person who chooses to finds the good side to events that occurs. If you choose to be a good finder then that puts you in 3% of the world population. That's how rare good finders are ! The world has enough of it's fair share of so-called normal or realistic people or just plain bad finders. People who for reasons only known to themselves just cannot see the good side to a situation. Phew ! Writing about them makes me feel a bit lethargic !

For example, if your boss emails you stating that the outline that you submitted needs some extra formatting work there are two ways to approach this situation. The traditional way would be to fret and grumble because of the extra work to be done. A good finder however will see that the good of the situation. "Alright ! This means that the contents of the document is okay !! Just a little easy peasy formatting work needed !"

People like good finders because they are so refreshing. Not only that they are happier in whatever they are doing or pursuing because they are constantly being enveloped by this invisible shield of happiness as they go about their daily chores. Also, to be totally accurate I don't think the word "chore" even exists in the good finder's dictionary. How can they achieve this ? Simple, bad vibes or views simply do not register on their radar. They cannot see it ! A totally bad situation can befall them and all they see is the good side. That has got to be the best blind condition in the world, being negative blind ! This mind you is not being naive, rather it's being proactive. You choose not to feed your negative vibes by feeling sorry, rather you do your best to preserve your vibes to make the best of the situation. Lemonade tastes damn good ! Imagine what kind of power you would exude when nothing can bother you and you walk around everywhere with this invisible shield of feel-goodness.

So .. go on try being a good finder tomorrow or heck right now and just watch your world turn around.

The note of appreciation

I have found a superb way to keep your vibes in tact during ... sub optimal conditions. It's very easy yet very effective and can be done anywhere. I call this the "note of appreciation" method. It's done like this. When a sub optimal situation presents itself and threatens to jeopardize your vibes, take out a piece of paper and pen and start writing down all the good things you can think of related to the situation, the situation can be related to a person or a thing. Start listing them out one by one. You will notice that initially it is really hard but it gets easier as you go along and you can just feel those negative vibes melt away. When you finally get to the last item on your list, you would have notice that your sub optimal feelings has been transformed to feelings of a warmer state for the person or thing.

The note of appreciation works because it forces the mind to concentrate on the positive side of the thing or person that is in your attention span. This worked to great effect for me when I faced problems with my relationship. She had to work late again and had no time we had to forgo our earlier appointment. What would have normally boiled over from the sub optimal feelings to a full blown argument in the past, turned into a practice of appreciating the other party. What a great way to salvage the evening ! I spent the better half of the evening thinking about her special qualities and how she complements me in so many ways that at the end of it my feelings for her was even warmer that before ! Great way to break out of a negative vibe situation ! What's more it would be a nice surprise for the other party, if you happen to show them the list !

I hear you saying there "But ! there is nothing good to write about !!". Yes I hear you and I know it's hard, but trust me if you dig deep enough and look you will there is a good thing to say about a situation no matter how un-ideal. If you other half has no time for you because of her work, when sub optimal feelings will tell you that she doesn't care about you, only her work matters and other things. This will only lead you to a downward spiral in terms of vibes. Stop it ! Writing something like "I appreciate because she allows me to have a lot of time to myself to build spiritual side". This forces the mind to look at the situation in a whole different light. Keep on doing this and you will notice that your thoughts now have changed from one of frustration and anger to that of compassion and calmness.

The most romantic gesture

Today I listened to Jim Rohn's 'Take Charge of your life' and something in there about the black widow caught my fancy. Jim mentioned how the act of the black widow eating her mate after the 'noble act' as 'interesting' while it seemed tragic to most people. Good observation Jim but for me it struck me as the the most the most romantic act in the animal kingdom. A selfless mate sacrificing even his own life for his other half. A bit of a morbid end but the thought of it is just so romantic to me.

A selfless act to serve another soul in that way can only be done by the most dedicated soul. You can get scientific on my ass and argue the point by saying that the male is actually bound and unable to move ... thanks but no thanks I would rather live in my romanticized version ....

Today something fabulous happened. I found out that Pappy actually opened up a lead for me ! I am very thankful she help me with my business even when she was running on blind faith ( which is is definitely more than what I would have done ).She started to talk to Najmi in which I followed through to bring into completion. What a team we make ! Feel so much warm fuzzies for her. Now thanks to her tomorrow we are going to close one of the bigger deals.

I am very thankful to have found an ideal partner in her. She has provided me the support all the way. She has given me the the time to work on my business while still keeping very close and warm contacts with me. Time away is fine when it's time so sweet :). Every day she calls I can hear the miss in her voice yet she keeps supporting me through my many projects. I thank all my lucky stars in the heavens I have found such a supportive and patient woman.

Everything about her just fits me so well, right from her uncanny ability to read my mind to the fact that all my friends just adore her. She carries herself well ! I thank you too that you already so advanced in your process of cleaning up and putting health first in your life now. Life is blissful !!

Pappy if you ever do see this this one is dedicated to you and I hope that lack of sleep and tiredness did not hinder what I have been trying to say here. I love you.

Your purpose

Funny, this post reminds me of one of my friend's custom message. This guy always has the custom message "What is your purpose ..?" on his ym. For a long time I did not know my purpose. Then when I heard about the laws of attraction, one night i sent my request up to the universe to find my purpose. A day later I knew, and more and more of the situations I am presented to daily made more sense to me. I was put here to help my fellow man. It's such a humbling and joyous feeling to know that I have been chosen for this role. For once I see direction ahead and know what I must prepare for that journey ahead of me. Thank you. This has been a long time coming but it's worth the wait.

The community hub

Have you ever wanted to be more popular ? Have you ever wanted to be more in the pulse of what is going on in your neighborhood ? People going depend on you to get stuff done. You are like the guy in shawshank redemption who "gets stuff". People look to you for advice and help. In the IT world you are like the central hub where information passes and you are essential to the structure of the network. If you aspire to be someone like this then what you are aspiring to be is a community hub.

It's great being a community hub. A community hub is a person which everyone goes to get things done or pass along a favor or two. It is also a great place to build credo and leverage. You have to start by being a "go to guy" for all things going on around you. Let's put it this way, as the "go to guy" no favor is too small. In life everybody has a need big or small. More often than not most of these favors do not even cost any money. In the past I use to see these favors as a burden or a waste of time especially if they are from people whom I seldom meet or who seldom contact me. I was in the old mentality. Now I see it for what it is ... a free ticket to be closer to another human soul. One step closer to them, in the seat of power to influence their decisions. Played right you will be elected their trusted advisor.

More often than not I see people making the mistake of not fulfilling the small favors to their friends or aquaintences. For them these are a burden and a waste of their time. For me I see it completely differently. See it as a free ticket into their lives, you get to help out another human being no matter how small the favor and it feels great ! The credo you build with these people are so great you will be in their thoughts most of the time.

The trick is to help genuinely from the heart. Like how an animal can smell fear, people have the innate ability to smell falseness or if you are not genuine. Provide the service with your best intentions and compassion and you will be rewarded in dividends in everyway.

The power of your tone

Had another good power evening with wai-sun and nicky. The interesting thing today is I experienced first hand the power of the tone of your voice. I had what I thought would be a poor evening with Pap on the phone when I switched and perked up my tone and everything just changed. She suddenly felt interested enough on how to use the laws of attraction to pull in a cisco switch she was waiting for. While this is not really the advertised use of the laws of attraction, the fact that she wanted to know about something I am dabbling in makes me feel so good. Moral of the story tonight ... tone of your voice could be the difference between success and failure and the other thing is it's very very hard to disguise tone especially with the complement half of yourself.

Tonight too I achieved a break through. I realised why Pap and me have been missing the magic we used to have last time. Well last time I was just more fun to be around. I did not use to be a pathetic whiney bitch ! Suddenly I realise what she must be feeling. She is hanging on hoping that the magic would return too ! She wants us to go back to where we were too ... but standing here in my place is this whiney miney moe ... Pap if you ever do get to read this blog, I see it from your eyes. You are trying to hold on as I am when suddenly I zombified on you. I am sorry. NO MORE WHINEY MINEY STUFF FROM ME. I AM BRINGING BACK THE MAGIC !! !WHINEY MINEY
